Han Hoogerbrugge

Love Han Hoogerbrugge’s work. I saw an interview today with him in it, and was surprised to find that the main character in his work is Hoogerbrugge himself.
Anyway here are a few video clips of his animations that you can check out…

Mark Fennell's flash games

For all those that couldn’t play the “Gesundheit!” game that I posted earlier this week, here are some flash games that are both PC and Mac friendly. All the games have been created by Mark Fennell (who moved from the UK to Sydney and is working at “The white agency”). Never heard of “the white agency” but I’ll add it to the list of Australian Studios on the side of the blog.
Oh and his latest game is Foosball… use the left and right arrows to move your players.

Gesundheit!

Help an allergic pig save a city from snot-eating monsters! Featuring handmade scratchboard graphics and a toy instrument soundtrack, the demo contains twelve levels and a tutorial to teach you how to sneeze.
Created by Matt Hammil.

This is a really cool game that I came across. Great hand drawn style that makes it different from a lot of other games… and I love the way the pig skips around (very cute). So far I’ve made it to level 5… it’s a lot harder when there are 2 monsters (If anyone can get past this level let me know how you did it!).

Download here.
(Unfortunately you can only play it on a PC)

Fridee night- let's ketchup!!!

Hey y'all!

Aronicoco (Monique) and I were talking at work today, and we decided this week seems like a fine time to meet up on Fridee night after work for some drinks with our RMIT Alumni!

We are thinking somewhere in the cbd, maybe cherry bar, or st jeromes or something? Suggestions more than welcome.

The prerequisite is you in attendance, the more ADoMites, the better!!

RSVP by posting a comment, or call me or Mon, and we will get chatting about destinations.

P.S. There are only so many times I am prepared to organise things and have my ADoM peeps mysteriously not show up, so try and make an effort.

Graffiti Research Lab - L.A.S.E.R. Tag

Thought this was pretty cool… a project by the urban communicators “Graffiti Research Lab”. Using a laser pointer, a projector, and some code they laser graffiti the side of a building. If you look closely you can see that the software even mimics paint drips after each tag is written.
Check out the video here.
