AGIdeas is an international design festival, that presents a three day forum of international designers and creative talents and a series of associated events that celebrate, motivate and inspire excellence in design.
This website has been around for a while, so some of you may have already checked it out. Graymachine is the motion design studio of freelance artist Harry J Frank. Contains some pretty nice after effects tutorials.
(Tutorials are QuickTime files and might take a while to load).
SOS is dedicated to showcasing the best selection of Australian and International shorts, from multi-award winning festival favourites to cutting edge student films. Each week viewers can expect to see an exciting mix of quality animations, live action, comedy, documentary, drama and experimental shorts on screen which are innovative, funny, surprising, quirky and challenging. It is one of the few places where you will get to see the variety of stories, experiences and imaginations of short filmmakers from different countries.

Fuel and Leo Burnett Sydney teamed up to create this spot for Johnnie Walker Red Label scotch. Altogether 89 invisible people were created for this spot. Entire environments had to be built in CG and digital doubles made to populate scenes. The footage for the commercial was shot in Sydneys Kings Cross over three nights.

Thought this was pretty cool… a project by the urban communicators “Graffiti Research Lab”. Using a laser pointer, a projector, and some code they laser graffiti the side of a building. If you look closely you can see that the software even mimics paint drips after each tag is written.
